The $238m Torrens Rail Junction project addressed a vital productivity bottleneck between the interstate freight and Outer Harbour passenger railways in Adelaide by grade separating the lines, lowering the Outer Harbour line beneath the interstate rail and Inner Ring Route (Park Terrace), and constructing a new Bowden Railway Station.
Enhancements include new cycling and pedestrian pathways adjacent to and across the rail line, bolstering connectivity in the surrounding area.
